ABOUT US

The Boys' Home Association has been providing help to troubled kids and families since 1914. A group home was formed initially to provide shelter and haven for homeless and orphaned boys. In the Home's first seven years of operation, over 800 boys were cared for in a variety of capacities.

Over the years many programs and services have been added, especially the Foster Home Programs which expanded services to include girls in 1997. Children are placed with the Boys' Home after removal from their family by the Department of Children and Families due to abuse or neglect. Often children enter the foster care system with complex multiple emotional and physical needs that are addressed through the array of services available through the Boys' Home.

It has always been and remains our goal to provide a loving, nurturing, supportive, stable place where children can safely grow and learn. The Boys' Home programs include Family Foster Care and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care which are available to dependent children in District IV.

OUR MISSION

A commitment to provide quality community-based services to at risk children and their families.

CORE VALUES
